Specially designed for tobacco smoke control and secondhand smoke - effective up to 1800 sq ft area.

The Allerair 6000 DS air purifier is specially designed for smoking environments. A unique tar-trapping pre-filter grabs larger particles and tar and extends the life of the HEPA filter. The Allerair 6000 DS also features a micro-wrap filter to deal with small particles such as cigarette ash and a 3" extra-deep, 28 pound, carbon bed.

The deeper carbon bed increases dwell time, allowing more smoke chemicals, gases and odors to be absorbed. Tobacco smoke and odors are most effectivelly trapped when your air purifiers works on low speed.

Carbon filters are the only known media proven to effectivelly remove the effects of tobacco smoke long after active smoking ceased. Dangerous substances, compounds of tobacco smoke (benzene,toluene, arsenic, nicotine,cynide, trichlorethylene...) are lingering to the walls, draps or furniture coatings beeing released as the air circulates through the room.

Recirculating a continuous flow of air, at low speed through an activated carbon filter allows air to be properly cleaned of these pollutants.
